Buy-It-Now, or "make a reasonable offer". This matchbox cover was part of a collection of vintage sports stickers/stamps, most pre-1950 and some from the early 1900's. This super-colorful vintage football matchbox cover measures approximately 4 1/8" x 2 1/4", and features a fine football scene of a player on the gridiron, with green grass, blue sky and grandstands in the backround! The offered cover was originally intended to wrap-around an Ohio Blue Tip matchbox, but was never used!!! Says "1955 by the Ohio Match Company, Wadsworth, Ohio" above one of the strikers. This oddball football memorabilia is guaranteed to be vintage...no repro here! <>Condition: in *Fine Shape* overall, showing only minimal age/handling faults...nice!!! The cover's reverse does exhibit some roughness, possibly due to removal from a scrapbook. Both of the strikers appear unused! There are no edge tears or creases present!!
