When admiring the table setting, reading the information about America’s 13 Original Colonies is an excellent learning experience for Americans of all ages. On the back side of each plate is an inscription in a 24-Karat Gold stamp which details historical information about each colony. Additionally, the back side of each plate includes a description of the plants and flowers unique to the state along with the Lenox® Crest. As seen in the pictures, all but one plate has its own leaflet. The leaflet contains the same text that is on the back of the plate therefore allowing description of colony plate during your meal. The width of the circular plates is 10 ¾ inches and trimmed with 24-Karat gold. Finally, original shipping boxes are included for all but one plate.
