Description: One Boy (not identified) with Trike (velocipede), a Cabinet Card image from the studio of C. R. von Der Heiden (1867-1942), photographer of Newton, Kansas, in the 1890s. The cabinet card is in extremely fine condition. The model pose is exquisite, as is the lighting and sharp detail. The boy model is dressed in a narrow brim derby hat, a coat and bow tie, with knicker pants and high top laced boots. There is an area of very slight abrasion to the right of the boy model which renders almost unnoticeable tiny damage to part of the image of the backdrop. The mount card has a dark brown finish with gold lettering and edging. Just a fabulous cabinet card to add to any collection, from an obviously skilled photographer! Thanks for viewing. Be sure to check out my other items listed. I am regularly listing more such things. This is a no reserve auction. Domestic: Shipping. International shipping may require a bit more on the postage part.
