Description: This medal commemorates the 25th anniversary of Singapore's independence in 1990. The medal is made of bronze and has a beat-up circulation history. The fineness of the medal is unknown. The medal is a great addition to any collection and a perfect way to celebrate Singapore's history. The medal is from an unknown brand and was made in Singapore. I got this in a lot I won in a foreign coin lot. I’ve been trying to find out what it was exactly for months. Finally another ebayer I bought from found another made in a different manner. Lettering and things on this medal are in different spots on what the other ebayer sent me. The photos show screenshots of the other Singapore medal they found. I don’t know if it will auction, or sell, but I’ll try anything once. Under magnification I can read, One God One Nation One Singapore You can barely make out 1990 to the right and on the opposite side it looks like there may have been a likeness, but it’s been mutilated buy some tool and maybe an angry person. Who knows what happened, but it did and I’m going to see what happens with a mutilated medal will bring. It’s non magnetic and looks to be a clad of copper/bronze with a coating of maybe zinc, I’m not positive and it weighs in at 48.87 grams. 1.724 ounces. I thank you for stopping to look at this ugly thing and hope you have a great day.
