There's a slight bowing-out of the boards at the fore-edges. There are some small, old water stains on the top edge of the text block, but there is no rippling or waviness to the paper (see the third photograph). There is a little bit of bleed-down of the orange color on the top of the text block--a very thin line along the top edges of the last handful of pages. The page faces are otherwise unaffected, with the pages being clean, tightly bound and unmarked. There are a couple small bumps at the tail of the spine. There's a thin line of sunning at the head of the spine and along the top edges of the boards. The dust jacket has some rubbing and edge-wear (small tears, chips, etc.). There's a small, closed "puncture" tear on the rear joint of the jacket. There are some small water stains at the head of the jacket spine (visible on both sides), and a very thin line of water stains along the top edges of the jacket covers (visible on the blank reverse side).
