I have used it to make 32oz of celery juice every day for 6 months and have not seen leaks. Minor leaks can happen at this gasket if there's a lot of pressure in the drum like when I juiced apples, but the leaks were minor and not really an issue. It has stains from celery juice that do not come off with simple rinse. Since I use it primarily for celery juice I just live with it.
