This is a rare 1972 vintage lithograph, not a Kennedy Graphics reproduction. In 1966 Otl Aicher (1922-1991), a pioneer German Graphic designer and typographer, was asked by the organizers of the 1972 Summer Olympics in Munich to become the Olympic Games' lead designer. Aicher specified that all the individual sport posters start with a photograph. This one by Max Muhlberger with the final design by Aicher, Joksen, Wirthner, and Nagy. The images were solarized to achieve unusual effects & printed in bright color combinations. Poster will be rolled, insured and mailed in a tube via FedEx. Shipping $35.
