Description: The Blues and the Abstract Truth by Oliver Nelson recorded in February 1961 for the Impulse! label. It remains one of the most acclaimed jazz albums of all time and features a lineup of superstar musicians: Freddie Hubbard, Eric Dolphy, Bill Evans (in a rare appearance as a sideman), Paul Chambers and Roy Haynes. This is a 1980 pressing from when Impulse was owned by MCA. This is a very nice copy, plays great - in great shape overall. See pictures of the minor shelf wear and minor bumps to the sleeve but the seams are strong.
