The candle holders are made of solid burlwood with ebonized accents. The drip trays are made of pewter. When acquired, I was told that they had been taken apart, and refinished and re-ebonized, with minor repairs to the upper ebonized portions. They have an old construction, with the stem being jointed into the base (as seen on the underside. The pewter pieces also appear older, but I cannot confidently date these piece before the 1950s, so they may be vintage and not antique. The candle holders are in excellent condition, essentially free of flaws with the exception of some minor bends to the pewter caps and some minor was residue .
