Description: Old Eugen Meinel Violin Bow 4/4, Germany Eugen Meinel was a trade name employed by Ernst Heinrich Roth to avoid conflicts between representatives of his instruments over seas and represents generations of Roth family history; fabrications of consummate quality, every bit as good as their Roth counterparts. This violin bow plays well and was recently rehaired (September 2024). It has good strength, flexibility, and is balanced (in my professional opinion.) It is a very good playing stick with all of the hallmarks of a stick at a higher level.
