Description: Old 1879 Longview, Portland and Northern Railway Lock, etc. - Scarce This original, antique padlock reads: “L P &N” and “W.Bohannan Brooklyn NY Pat. June 25, ‘79” and “79”. It is made of brass and the dimensions are 2 1/2" wide by 4” tall plus the chain which measures 9.5” long. Included in this sale is an “original item used to open the lock”. It is in excellent antique condition and the key works to open the lock smoothly/easily. Shows some use and wear but otherwise very nice. Stored in a smoke-free home for many years. Smoke-free home.
