Of course, as it is 1908, no phone numbers are given.On the very right side of the card, is a photo of William Holmes McGuffey, a former professor at Miami University and author of the McGuffey Readers. The card has some soiling and yellowing but the edges are in good condition. There are no rips, holes, or tears. Miami University first admitted women in 1902, with the opening of its Ohio State Normal School, which helped the state meet a growing need for public school teachers."The most beautiful campus that ever was," said poet Robert Frost, a frequent Miami visitor.
