Description: Minnesota became a member of the Union May 11, 1858, but long before that time Odd Fellowship had been planted within its borders. I'm not sure of the location of this group or whether it is a Odd Fellows or Rebekah lodge, I'm just not that familiar with the fraternity. But the photographer, Daniel Stadin was from the Cambridge area in the years, 1910s; 1920s; 1930s. Doing a bit of research, there was a Grand Lodge in Minnesota. I found the Valediction was heartening, wishing more people in today's world would benefit from these words. This large 10" by 12" cabinet card photograph is from the early turn of the last century, as-found in an estate many years ago. Part of my collection that I'm parting with. The photograph itself is approx. 8" by 6". The board shows wear and mild scratches, the photo is nice but also shows minor spots of handling and poor storage at the time of my ownership. Fascinating group. One gent is watching another in the group. Children are so very serious! Examine the photos enlarges and please feel free to email me with any questions. Thanks for looking.
