You can mix the neck pickup in the bridge switch position or output three pickups simultaneously to create a bell-like Strat sound. In Gen2 the control layout has been improved to make the response of the Tone and Volume controls smoother. In addition a switch has been installed to select two types of voices. The normal Stratocaster'・s 5Way sound 1Vol and 2Tone controls are all maintained and the switch that raises the second tone control allows you to mix the neck pickup in the first three positions of the selector (Middle/Middle+Bridge/Bridge). ●Compatible Models The ObsidianWire Custom 7 Way for Strat is designed to fit directly on Fender Stratocasters equipped with 3 single coil pickups made in the United States and Mexico. Since it uses inch-sized pots for Japanese models the pickguard hole must be widened to 3/8 inch 10mm and a knob for inch size is required. In addition cavity processing may be required. For Squier guitars the control pot hole must be widened and the knob must be changed. Not compatible with left-handed guitars or guitars other than the above models. *We cannot answer in advance whether processing is required for your model. Thank you for your understanding. ObsidianWire uses US spec 24 spline split shaft control. Forcibly installing a knob of the wrong size may cause damage.
