Description: American made Barrel Wax. Barrels may leak from the head or stave seams or even through the wood. This can happen with any barrel and is a normal part of the barrel aging process. To stop leaks, apply a small amount of Barrel Wax to the leaking area. Directions: Find the source of the leak, usually around the barrel head or stave seams but on occasion liquid finds its way through the wood itself. With your finger, apply a small amount of wax into the barrel where the hole or leak is occurring. Push the wax into the hole until the leak stops. If your not sure exactly where the leak is, melt the wax onto the area where the leak is. Push the wax into the creases and clean the excess wax. On occasion small amounts of liquid may begin seeping out. Empty contents into a glass container, fill with hot or boiling water and storing tablet solution and allow to sit for 10 minutes.
