Description: -Bach 6 .485 bore yellow slide with nickel sleeves, pre slide lock 1936 NY vintage (SN7**). I also have a scan of the shop card showing that it was completed on 3/3/1936. It`s in excellent almost mint condition, %100 original parts, slide alignment done in the summer of 2020 and had the slide tendon worked on so the bell doesn't bottom out. Inners are in very good condition minus a small spot of chrome wear on the bottom of the lower inner tube, bell model is #401 in fantastic condition minus a couple small dings and some acid wear. It has a nickel silver slightly larger neck pipe than origanal Bach 6 or 6i`s and the bell has the old style "zipper" seam. The previous owner said that the horn had been re-lacquered around 1985, they did an excellent job. The high register screams on this horn, great for dixieland bands and especially on lead bone in big bands! Super rare horn and a piece of history. Comes with an old beat up Blessing case. 7” bell! Asking $2250, buyer pays shipping.
