Description: NOVATEC 8-9-10 SPEED HG TYPE 10 TOOTH THREADED FREEHUB FOR SHIMANO Kit contains: One Freehub Body, and one 6000-2rs steel bearing Weight 159 gram weight, hardened steel body, steel bearings. The cassette can't dig into the body shell since like aluminum bodies. The 8-9-10 speed is the maximum cassette recommended. It's best to match the 34.9mm length as closely as possible. Please note, the wheel to freehub hub interface is keyed and threaded and a 10mm Allen key is used. To check this please remove the axle by driving it out the non-drive side. This freehub has an outer cartridge bearing. If you find a cup and cone system please see my other listings. Disassembly tip: 1. remove the drive side cone nuts (with cone wrenches) from the axle, 2. Use a soft mallet to drive the axle out of the non-drive side (if it has a cartridge bearing) other wise it will be loose, 3. Use a 12mm Allen bit that can reach the freehub lock nut and un-thread it. 4. The freehub can now be removed and replaced in the reverse order. Free shipping in the USA! We ship daily!
