Description: Selling is an 7 5/8" X 9 1/2" Original Black & White Glossy photo with trimmed borders of NORMA SHEARER from the 1938 film, "MARIE ANTOINETTE", as photographed by LASZLO WILLINGER. There is no photographer stamp for this famed photographer but is well-documented that WILLINGER took the portraits of NORMA SHEARER for this film. I have collected photos of NORMA SHEARER from this film for over 15 years, and know that this particular photo of NORMA SHEARER in this gown is RARE to find in an original. I would estimate this photo was printed from the original negative sometime between the 1950s to 1960s and is on old fiber paper. The name of the star, film and year are penciled in lightly on the back only (See Scan). Photo is in Very Good Condition, with minimal handling wear. Excellent Resolution and Focus.
