Includes a number of early photographic shots of various scenes around the Norfolk Broads, including a frontis of a decoy pipe, Salhouse Dyke, Breydon Water, and a Swan Pit in Norwich. Lacking just 2 of the 12 listed in the illustration index. Some offsetting from the plates, a little toning to the pages, with the pages uncut to the edges. Half title and rear blank browned. Inner hinges starting, but holding, binding a little shaky. Boards with some rubbing to the spine edges, corners worn to board, spine ends bumped. RARE First Edition of this title that covers nature on the Broads, as well as sailing, Wherries, Pike Fishing, A crusade against poaching, the Herring Fishery, Eels, and much more.
