The Enforcer 104 Free is the latest version of this now iconic ski model, and returns unchanged with new graphics. Compared to the original Enforcer, this ski has a different shape, wider width and different construction. The legendary performance and versatility of the Enforcer is amplified even more in this latest creation from the gurus at Nordica. So, obviously the big question is, what is different? Starting with the core, the E 104 Free borrows the same Lite Performance Wood Core from the Enforcer 110. But then, this core is further enhanced with True Tip Technology. The core is milled thinner at the ends, and extends further into the tip and tail sections of the ski. This longer length of this new wood core replaces some of the heavier ABS material found in the tip and tail of the original Enforcer, lowering swing weight, and thinning out the profile for easier movement side to side in deep snow, and also increasing the playful feel on the snow. At the same time, long strips of carbon running tip to tail replace some of the heavier fiberglass in previous models, further reducing weight, and increasing rebound. The result is a ski that is lighter, and feels lighter and more maneuverable, without sacrificing any of the powerful, smooth, predictable performance and feel that that has made the Enforcer so popular. ♦ Twin metal laminate construction with full length ABS sidewalls. ♦ New, Lite Performance, edge to edge, tip to tail wood core is longer, and thinner at the ends. Wood absorbs shock best. Wood rebounds best. Wood makes the ski durable. It is simply the best core material available to build a ski around. ♦ Carbon reinforced tip to tail for reduced weight. ♦ Lighter, more playful feel on the snow, and more maneuverable from edge to edge. So, other skis have some, or perhaps all of these construction features. But no other ski combines these with the shape and rocker profile of the Enforcer, and the new tail shape of the Enforcer 104 Free. Long, wide slow rise tip shape, with the widest point of the ski moved back considerably from other ski shapes. Long, slow rise tail shape (with more kick up than narrower Enforcers), also with the widest point moved forward quite a distance from the tail. This shape results in a ski with a lot of surface area at its ends, with lots of rocker to help it float, and feel very "surfie" in deeper snow. At the same time, the sidecut arc is very, very short. So, the ski is incredibly maneuverable and super easy to turn.
