Description Nordic Components 12 gauge Shotgun Extension Tube Nut This nut fits the 12 gauge Nordic Component extension tubes and is designed to be used with your 12 gauge shotgun and your NC extension. Each nut is made of machined billet aluminum and styled to match the shotgun brand. Anodized matte black. These ONLY fit Nordic Components Extension Tubes. They do not fit any of the extension tubes that may have come on a factory shotgun. The MB-model nut is compatible with the following 12 gauge shotguns:Mossberg 590/590A1Mossberg 835Mossberg 930Mossberg 935Tristar TEC-12 (requires spacer between barrel lug and nut)This nut is not compatible with the Mossberg 500 or 535, or the Maverick 88.The Mossberg 930/940 JM Pro Series shotguns come factory equipped with Nordic Components +4 (22″ barrel) or +5 (24″ barrel) magazine extensions. The capacity of the factory magazine without the extension is 4.To expand the capacity of the JM Pro, the extension tube itself may be replaced with a different length, or an additional extension tube may be added with an MXT Coupler. The same extension nut and end cap may be reused, but a new spring will be required.Any magazine dimples or spring retaining devices will need to be smoothed or removed to allow proper function.Note: This nut will also be compatible with other shotguns utilizing the same factory magazine thread pattern, but may require modification/fabrication for proper installation.
