Description: Premium NOMEX gasket with 2000 degree Perkins adhesive: Fits Traeger, recommended for "elite" models. This is the premier way to seal up that leaky Traeger. The Stove adhesive is a superb EZ spread design that bonds metal very well. It is rated to 2000 degrees. The high temp Nomex gasket material is the result of 6 years of testing. You will get many years of service out of this kit with out any headaches. Installation directions: Clean surface with rubbing alcohol or food safe degreaser Lightly sand surface to remove stubborn grease or build up. Squeeze contents of tube onto door edge where gasket is to be installed. Press on gasket to install, do not stretch. There is enough EZ spread adhesive to make a 1/8" bead that is over 29 feet long! (more than enough for your traeger) The adhesive MUST be heat cured before cooking. (see tube for instructions) Installation notes: There is enough adhesive to make a 1/8" bead by 29 feet. you should put two 1/8" beads on the base and two on the lid. You will still have adhesive leftover. If you are not handy, please look at our listing for our premium Nomex gasket for Big green egg, with self adhesive. Note: This is the reccomended kit for Traeger Elite, because this adhesive is best suited for the powdercoated finish on Elite models. Ofcoarse, it is great on ANY Traeger!
