It utilizes a CREE XHP35 HD LED of a lifespan of 50,000 hours to emit a max output of 1,800 lumens and a throw of 182 meters by using an optical system combined with crystal coating and “Precision Digital Optics Technology” (PDOT). The auxiliary red light is equipped specially for low light tactics and can protect the night vision effectively without influencing the adaptive optics system, suitable for outdoor, tactical and law enforcement situations including equipment checks and map reading. As a unibody die-cast flashlight constructed from aero grade aluminum alloy, the P18 is endowed with crafting techniques on a par with F1 car engines and spacecrafts. The unibody die-casting tube containing the LED and circuit board provides a rigid and impact resistant structure in a lightweight and fast cooling body within your palm. The anti-sliding design ensures the comfort of the grip. The one-hand operable user interface consists of a silent tactical tail switch which accesses momentary or constant on of the white light, and a side switch which independently controls the auxiliary red light.
