Description: Nippon Morimura Hand Painted Blue Orange Floral Raised Gold Planter C.1911-1921 Nice antique Japanese porcelain planter. Decorated with hand painted blue and orange flowers with raised gold highlights over a blue background. Gold gilding and beading along the rim. Marked on the bottom Hand Painted M Nippon with a wreath. This mark was used by the Morimura Brothers in Nippon (Japan) between 1911 and 1921. Has some wear to the gilding and a small in manufacture hairline extending off one of the feet into the body, but otherwise good condition. Measures approximately 6 1/4 inches wide x 3 1/4 inches tall. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the piece.
