Description: The above collector's edition 3DS XL console is brand new, but was opened to demonstrate the contents inside as part of a YouTube video upon release. The contents were then immediately placed back into their box and placed into my sealed collection. The console has never been used. However, since it was already taken out of the box at release, I took it back out to ensure that it does indeed work. With that said, the console is brand new and works as intended. It was purchased brand new, sealed upon release in 2014. It was on display for many years before being stored in a temperature controlled room. While on display and in storage, the console was protected in a hard plastic case to prevent dust from building up. There is some box wear that had occurred before purchase.
