Description: The instrument is in overall good used condition with normal wear. There are some scratches and dings, hairline crack around the bottom near chin rest, when i got it appraised i was told that it was splitting due to age, not because of any damage or tension on chin rest. I try to take pictures of any defects that I am aware of. very interesting finish on the violin, labeled Nikolai’s Amatus Fecit in Cremona, label has been torn indicating the year but it looks closest to the 1645 Model. Includes original case and all accessories pictured, some rosin has melted in upper compartment leading to stickyness.
