The leotard has raglan sleeves in black mesh. The front of the competition if covered in jet black rhinestones. The arms have over 3,100 crystal ab rhinestones, in rows running down them. Very pretty. The back neck has a clip and is open, with a black band of rhinestones running across the opening. Handmade in the USA Gymnastics leotards run quite smaller than regular "street" clothing. The sizes are based on the average petite gymnast. It is always best to get the child's girth measurement. To take the child's girth measurement, start at the top of the shoulder where the strap would lay, go down the front, through the legs, up the back to that same shoulder. So, it is a complete measurement of the torso. Children who are tall or have longer torsos may be the next size up.
