Description: Vintage 1960's oil on canvasboard painting of familiar old buildings on famous Jackson Square in New Orleans' French Quarter, 20" by 24", signed lower right "Hansel". The white building is the famous Cabildo; the red, the Pontalba Building dating to 1849. The piece is unframed and in vintage condition with even soiling of about 60 years. The sky's slight yellowish tint would likely clean up nicely under a restorer but you wouldn't have to do that to just enjoy the painting.
