Description: Description Gibson / 1950s J-45 Original Vintage Sunburst [S/N:21554014] The popular 50s-style J-45 The J-45 is a round-shoulder acoustic guitar that was born in 1942 as a successor to the J-35. This model has been loved by many musicians and guitarists to this day, and is nicknamed "The Workhorse." It was named this because it was sold for $45 at the time. The original J-45 reigned as the representative of round shoulders for 28 years after its birth. However, in 1970, it underwent a transformation and was transformed into a square-shouldered and long-scale guitar. Production ended in 1982, but it was revived in 1984 as the long-awaited "round-shouldered and 24-3/4-inch scale." This is the J-45 Original from the "Original Collection," which was newly added to Ninelap in 2020. Made in Montana, USA. This model inherits the hidden popularity of the 1950s series and is equipped with a large pickguard. The body is all solid wood, with a Sitka spruce top and mahogany sides/back, the classic J-45 specs. It has scalloped X-bracing and a single-ring rosette. It has straight saddles and a Gibson-scale mahogany neck with a familiar round profile. The tuners are triple Kluson type, the pickups are L.R.Baggs VTC, and the volume/tone can be controlled at the edge of the sound hole. The nitrocellulose lacquer finish (gloss) and the dovetail neck joint with glue are familiar specifications. The classic J-45 sound that shows why it is called a classic instrument of the past! It has a rich midrange, a firm body, and a loud sound.
