So, what's the difference between Dyneema fabric and DTRS75? Dyneema fabric consists of 2 mylar layers with a center reinforcement of Dyneema strands. The fabric is translucent so you can identify items inside. DTRS75 is made with a single mylar layer with a 50D woven ripstop polyester face. It's slightly heavier than 1.43oz Dyneema and non-translucent. With a single thicker mylar layer it is noticeably louder than DCF, yet has a soft polyester exterior. Its main advantage would be the lower cost of the material vs Dyneema if you're looking to save a few bucks. Although the Materials are waterproof and these products are highly weatherproof, and are not designed to submerged. Items other than the zipper bag are not included and used for staging.
