New EPEC 12 volt alkaline battery block 450006990704 A4 ADFM Flowshark Trimble

Description: Up for sale we one New EPEC Engineered Technologies 12 volt alkaline battery block (P/N 450006990794 REV A4) used in the FlowShark (Flow Shark) ADFM ADS systems. There may be other applications for it as well. It consists of a block 24 LR20 "D" cell batteries connected together. The "D" cells are paralleled together in groups of 3 and then the 8 groups of 3 are connected in series to create the 12 volt "block". The individual "D" cell batteries are Kendal LR20 AM1 1.5V "Large Capacity" " Strong Alkaline" batteries and are made in China. The "Alkaline Cell 1.5 Volt" on the pictured label refers to these individual "D" cells that make up the block - not the voltage of the block itself. These were recently acquired from the MWRA. The date code is April 8, 2019 - This is believed to be the assembled date not the expiration date as these were shipped to the original purchaser (the MWRA) on May 2nd 2019 Each block weighs 8 pounds.
