Description: This is a custom wound ceramic form plate choke. It is useful as an RF safety choke in big amplifiers or as the plate choke in smaller 5kW or less amplifiers. This choke is an excellent replacement for the Heathkit SB220 when adapting it for 160 meters. This choke has 1/4-20 threads! I have another auction with an FL2100 choke. It has brass inserts for adapting the 1/4-20 US machine thread to metric 4x0.7MM as used in the FL2100. This choke moves the unwanted resonances to the area of 16MHz, keeping the choke safe on all Amateur bands including WARC bands. This is a brand-new choke. If you wish to use this choke with metric threads do not bid here. Bid on my eBay FL2100 choke.
