Wonderstone is Banded Rhyolitic Tuff that has silicified and pyritized, then later oxidized, forming liesegang bands of red hematite and orange goethite. Nevada Wonderstone is distinctive for its wide spectrum of hues and densities appearing in a variety of different compositions. This batch is raw and unpolished. If you like the look of the wet stone, you can spray them with lacquer, or use lapidary tools to smooth or otherwise treat them for use in jewelry/display.
