The Gien France Rambouillet dinnerware collection is a beautiful and unique collection designed by Jean Bertholle in 1955, in response to a request by the French President, Rene Coty. This hand-painted plate was created to furnish the elite and prestigious homes that hosted the Presidential Hunts. Made in France. Pre – Owned In Excellent Condition. No Chips, Cracks or Stains Never Used. Displayed Only No Box Most of my items are discovered at estate sales, flea markets, thrift stores, or other unique treasure caches. Unless otherwise stated all of the items I sell have had previous owners and are likely to show some signs of use. Many of the items are hand-painted and some blemishes were done at the time of creation and are part of the character of the piece.
