Description: This is a vintage linen postcard, postally used and postmarked 1947 from Nassau, Wisconsin. Postcard published by Curt Teich in 1915. Postcard features a view of the Nebraska State Hospital in Hastings, Nebraska. Opened in 1889 as the Hospital for the Incurably Insane, the name was changed to Asylum for the Chronic Insane in 1895. In 1905, the name was changed again to the Nebraska State Hospital, and yet again in 1915 to the Ingleside Hospital for the Insane. Later it became the Hastings State Hospital and in 1971, the hospital was given its current name of Hastings Regional Center. Postcard may have normal wear associated with old postcards such as creases and bent corners. See pics for details and conditions. Reasonable offers will be considered.
