Description: This Navajo cuff bracelet is a stunning piece of hand assembled and soldered silver and Turquoise. The silver cuff is bezel set with a beautiful oval blue gemstone from the Blue Gem Turquoise mine, giving it a unique and striking look. The bracelet measures 2.5 inches in length and features a classic Navajo design, making it a perfect addition to any jewelry collection. Good condition. The cut wire in half circle patterns was a technique used in the 1950s-1960s. The center turquoise stone has a brown matrix, indicating the presence of iron. Given the iron deposits and color attributes of the stone, I believe the origin of the turquoise is the Blue Gem Turquoise Mine. The stone to the right of the cuff is referred to as the "water web" pattern. Water web turquoise is identified by the nodules being separated by a lighter color of the turquoise, as opposed to the typical brown or black spider webbing. Evaluated by Dwight Schannep at Tucson Indian Jewelry. It is a unisex piece of jewelry that would make a great gift for someone special or a beautiful addition to your own jewelry collection.
