Description: The Famous Couple that created this Maker Brand of Native Silver no longer have their Alb NM, store. The one in Santa Fe' is not related. I called around New Mexico & talked to these stores & the Turquoise Museum. Part of the reason why i called around was to try to clearly 100% identify these stones. I initially bought this because i thought it was Lander Turquoise. after i looked at it in the Sun it looked like Birdseye Kingman Turquoise or old Denim Turquoise. All of which are Rare, just 1 problem with that, there is White Matrix!!! In these stones!!! Sooo it is half the Professional State of New Mexicos belief & mine, that these ARE NOT LAPIS. The 2nd reason we believe these are not Lapis, is because THESE LOOK LIKE HIGH END AUSSY OPALS !!!!!!! In Blk UV light!!. My lousy iphone 15 dosent lick up the Rest of the circles of Color these babies have. In the Black light they have concentrics of Yellow, Orange, Red, Green, & Pink!! Beautiful!!!. My professional opinion as an Archaeologist is, these are RARE ANCIENT STONES, that are starting to OPALIZE!!! & thats whyy they can be seen in the UV.They change slightly in the naked light as well. Kind of like Mood stones.!. They also do not scratch test white like Lapis. I personally think these are a rare deep true Turquoise or the LAZURITE. The Laz has multi matrix in it, just LIKE THESE!. and White Quartz.Lapis dosent have tiny fragments of brown pigment & a mind of Opec look. The Famous Naki couple that made Native Silver & had the Alb NM shop, used top of the line stones. They didnt have a famous name & 2nd rate rocks. They are not died, & are a Show stopper in public! Awesome vibe, to wear, they feeel like wearing Opals, like they talk to you. If you have a Feeeel for the stones, you will be addicted to this piece(!). I have Cancer, i cannot take it with me, & again- NO RETURNS. Its too complicated for me to walk the dog, let alone chase mail. The Cross cuff in photo is to show it stacks nice, dosent go with it. back side has a stain from the SULFER gel, to prove it Sterling. WEIGHT:55.32g LENGTH; 6" WIDTH: 1"
