Description: Zia Pueblo pottery small pot with traditional and roadrunner designs by we known and celebrated potter Gloria Gachupin. Gloria Gachupin is a traditional potter from Zia Pueblo. She was making polychrome ollas, jars and bowls through the 1970's and 1980's. Her favorite designs included the roadrunner, the turkey and other birds, and the yucca plant, rainbows and clouds. Gloria and her sister, Helen Gachupin, were participants in the "One Space: Three Visions" exhibit at the Albuquerque Museum in 1979. This piece is a fine example of her work. This pot measures approximately 2-5/8" wide by 1-3/4" tall. There are no chips or cracks, only minor scuffs consistent with its age. Please review the photos as they are a large part of the description and a testament to its condition. This pot is coming from a smoke free home and will be carefully packaged. It will be shipped by USPS Ground Advantage with standard insurance and tracking.
