NATIVE AMERICAN DANCE POW WOW REGALIA: BONE & BEAD 16" NECKLACE, BREAST PLATE(?)

If you are interested in this item, especially as a holiday gift, pls purchase before Thanksgiving so we can ship before leaving, thx]NATIVE AMERICAN DANCE POW WOW REGALIA: BONE & BEAD 16" NECKLACE (NOT CHOKER!) We recently purchased a number of items we were told were used by a member of a Native American Dance group here in New Mexico who is not longer actively dancing and who chose to consign his items for someone else to use or display. We believe this necklace is made of 3/4" hairpipe hollow bone beads and natural & silver colored beads. It has six strands and is about 16" long. We're not certain if it was used during traditional dances or whether it was designed for a male or female. It is quite unique with aspects of a traditional choker but in the form of a necklace. We have found similar necklaces referred to as female breast plates or bandolier necklaces. This would make a great addition to any dancers outfit or for display by someone who appreciates one-of-a-kind handcrafted items.Our photos are part of our description ~ Pls view/zoom/enlarge all photos to assess item's condition prior to purchase/bidding as many antique and vintage items have honest wear that reflects their age & years of use.
