Description: Most Met owners even know this is a THING. Original New, factory stock tailamp tail lite tail lamp bezels in chrome plated plastic. These just did not survive! Kind of like the rubber inside door escutcheons. Very few people know that was a thing from new. If you are into the perfect restoration, here you go. Originally made like this, they had some process where they were made out of plastic, but somehow had a plated surface inside. Not on the outside of the plastic, but between the rear paint surface and the clear plastic. JUST IMPOSSIBLE to find nowadays, and you are really into originality and high show points, NOBODY ELSE WILL HAVE THESE. Offered here is a just a perfect pair, Factory NOS, well stored all their life, and came from a defunct dealership. Included is a extremely nice red tail light lens which we believe is also NOS and another that is very nice but may have been used at some point. This one is missing the rubber gasket on the backside, appears to be a large o ring type material. Also INCLUDED is the Lucas bulb holder plate with wires.
