Circa 1945. This is a BEAUTIFUL Vintage Napier Sterling Flower Pin & Earring Set that is Gold Plated with a Cultured Pearl accent in Excellent Condition. The pin stem’s safety catch is secure and earring clips are snug and the Hang Tags are still on the set. The brooch measures approximately 2 1/2 x 1 1/2 inches (2.37"H x 1.50"W) and earrings 1x1/2 inch (1.10"W x .56"W). The set weighs 25.5 grams. This is a 1945-50’s cast sterling with 12k to 24k gold plating set Dating these pieces in the 1950's based on Napier sterling manufactured in the 1950s has "Napier Sterling" with the font is the same size on the earrings, but different sized on the brooch. Sterling pieces made in the 1940s were marked with two different fonts sizes for the words “NAPIER” and “STERLING.” After 1960, Napier made heavily plated silver not sterling silver.
