Named & Numbered WWII 8th Air Force Corporal's Jacket with British Made Insignia

Description: This is one I had for a while and have never got around to specifically pinning down. It came out of a Denver flea market a little over a year ago.This World War II manufactured OD wool Ike jacket comes with all of its original plastic buttons. In the right inside breast pocket is a size 38L tag that shows the coat was made by the "T.D.M. CLOTHING MFG CORP." It is dated June 8, 1944. The left shoulder has an embroidered on felt 8th Air Force patch and the right shoulder has an embroidered on felt Headquarters European Theater of Operations USA patch. Both patches appear to be British made. However, I’m not 100% sure. Each sleeve has embroidered on felt Corporal Chevrons and the left cuff has a service stripe and four British made overseas bars. There are what I believe to be foreign made domed screw back “U.S.” and Air Corps collar discs on the labels. The left chest has a pin back British made three place ribbon bar with ribbons for the Army Good Conduct, American Campaign and European Campaign medals. A ruptured duck patch has been machine sewn above the right chest pocket. The jacket has a white 38L tag in the neck. While tough to make out, the jacket is also named in the neck. It’s either, "M. Glmore 3679", "M. Gimore 3679" or "M. Gilmore 3679".The jacket is very clean. I don’t see any moth nips with the exception of the bottom of the right breast pocket. The former owner left some tobacco (remnants sill present) in the pocket and the moths ate a few holes to get to it. Other than that, it looks great and displays extremely well.
