In this scene, Harlock is recovering from just losing his eye in a gunfight with the conquering occupiers of Earth. He allies with the survivors of another oppressed race, the alien Torkargans and drinks a toast to their pledge with their phrase "Gorum!" Cels from the My Youth in Arcadia motion picture don't grow on trees. This actual production cel from the film has been in my personal collection 30 years. This is a two layer, slightly oversize movie format cel and comes with what appears to be the original matching background. The cel has been slightly shifted to the left to cover a small unpainted area on the border of background. The cel layers are stuck together but not to the background. No douga drawing. The image has been slightly cropped to show how it will look properly framed. Cel is in near mint condition, having been carefully stored in darkness in a smoke and pet free household.
