We were surprised and disappointed that such questionable engineering would be used by a manufacturer of Gibson's caliber.To solve this issue, we are happy to offer our Saddle Slotting File. This File will let you easily create a smooth, low stress rest point for each string. You Won't Find This File at Your Local Hardware StoreMade by Grobet of Switzerland, it measures 5" long and is capped on the holding end with black vinyl. Being a 3 Corner File, it allows you to use any of the three edges as you work. All you need to do is file a couple of strokes at the string rest point and you're all set.
