Description: Music First Audio Classic with manual, this is a very nice TVC preamplifier. It's the "Classic" model but has been upgraded with V2 transformers, these have larger cores and an improved winding structure. Absolutely transparent and, as it's TVC, avoids any impedence matching problems. Inputs are either 2 x balanced XLR or 4 x unbalanced RCA, outputs are 1 x XLR or 1 x RCA. This unit includes the useful +6dB gain switch which allows amplification for sources requiring active boosting to be accommodated - which is not usual with a passive pre and is not standard on the current version of the classic - which retails at £2900. In very nice condition but the numbering for the volume steps is fading in parts. RM 24hr delivery can be arranged if required.
