Dating from the 1990's, you will be receiving two chairs, the table, and the Chess game itself. Checkmates, Acorns versus Carrots !! First, the chairs; from 1995, these were custom made chairs for Muffy and Hoppy to enjoy a game of chess. The bear chair with acorns is for Muffy and the bunny chair with carrots is for Hoppy. The Checkmate logo is screened on the back. The bear chair is 7.5 inches tall, while the rabbit chair stands nearly 9.25 inches. Next, the table; also produced in 1995, this wooden table measures 9"L x 9" W x 4½" H. With a screened checkered pattern on the top, screened artwork of carrots and acorns adorn the table legs and drawer pulls. The drawers can be used to store the chess pieces when not in use. Finally, the Checkmates Chess game. Also dated 1995, this set includes 32 hand-carved, hand-painted, chess pieces with a game mat. Are you on Muffy's or Hoppy's side? All items come from a New Hampshire estate. Used and as shown, the original packaging with some marks are included. Please note that there is damage to one corner of the table as shown.
