During WWII Norfolk and Western did not streamline its five new 4-8-4s built in 1943 due to steel shortages (they received their shrouds after the war ended). Features include a precision flywheel equipped motor, a constant voltage headlight, an operating firebox glow, an operating tender back up light, illuminated cab interior, operating marker lights and protosound 2.0 with freight yard proto effects.
