MTG Casual Rakdos Goad Deck w/Deck Box & Sleeves

Description: Thank you for your interest in my auction. I am selling the following item: A Custom Casual Rakdos Goad Deck: This is a casual Modern deck built around abusing the Goad mechanic or forced attacking to win games. The deck keeps forcing your opponents to attack each other or attack into you with disadvantages. So the idea is to use your Maddening Imp or Besmirch or any of your other cards that force your opponents creatures to attack especially when they have done something making them unable to attack so that you can destroy them with the activated abilities of your cards. Some of your cards just force them to attack like with Imps' Taunt. Be careful when doing this because they can also attack you! But the idea is to make them attack with creatures they either don’t want to attack with or will lose if they do. Other cards like Bloodthirsty Blade goad creatures which will make them attack your opponents unless you are the only one they can still attack. This will be your mainstay to get your opponents to kill each other before its down to just you and one other opponent. Then the rest of the deck duplicates forced attacks or provides some protection for you in case you are attacked. Let’s get to the breakdown. Creatures: First amongst your creatures are your forced attacking cards like Maddening Imp, Nettling Imp, Norritt, and Rage Nimbus. Wait, that’s all your creatures in the deck! Every one of your creatures can force attacks. The main differences being that the Maddening Imp will force all of a particular opponent’s creatures to attack instead of only one with the others. And that your Rage Nimbus provides a very strong flying blocker to kill attackers on top of being able to force attacks. So use them wisely to control when and how enemy attacks happen. They are not damage dealers but control elements so be wise when you do use them. Spells: The spell suite is a mix of forced attacking and damage sources. Besmirch will let you take control of a creature and goad it so when you give it back, if its still alive, its controller will have to attack with it again! Depending on what you take control of this can involve some really big life total swings. Or force the loss of an important utility creature. The other cards in your spell group include a set of Buyback spells. Brush with Death, Fanning the Flames, and Imps' Taunt all have Buyback and while not very efficient they do provide an inevitable path to victory. The first two provide either life drain or straight burn to your opponents or their creatures. The Buyback ability lets you keep reusing them once you have controlled the board state by killing all their creatures. Imps' Taunt is another way to force enemy creatures to attack in case of a board wipe or loss of your own creatures. Artifacts: Bullwhip is a great artifact for this deck. It’s a non-creature way to force attacks and it can kill small creatures in play when you want to remove weak utility creatures or something tiny that has evasion which may be annoying you. Bear in mind, it may be able to finish off an enemy creature after it attacks into a defending creature that cant quite kill it. And as you get more into play, the damage output goes up! Bloodthirsty Blade is the main way to force enemy attacks while keeping attacks away from you. The goad feature will make the equipped creature attack other players instead of you until they don’t have a choice about attacking you once you are out of other players. Remember, once it reaches a point they have to attack you, just unequip it from the enemy creature! Enchantments: The two enchantments are in the deck to discourage people from attacking you with their creatures. Circle of Flame burns nonflying creatures for one when they attack. As more get on the table or combined with Bullwhip the damage will go up. And it affects all creatures that attack you. Revenge of Ravens drains your opponent for 1 and gains you 1 for every attacking creature. This can make trades very unpopular for your opponents. Both enchantments make sure weenies stay away from you and slow damage down from bigger creatures. Use Bloodthirsty Blade on the bigger enemy creatures or Fanning the Flames. So if you like goading people, forcing bad decisions, or just messing around with the table then this deck is for you!
