The locomotive was obtained from a defunct store locker and is "New Old Stock". The loco is in new condition and has never been removed from the packaging. The outer box does show some very minor "shelf wear". VERY IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER: As mentioned, this locomotive is new and has never been used. It is "New Old Stock". That said, there is a chance that the locomotive may not run "perfectly" right out of the box. This locomotive was produced quite a while ago and "oil lubrication" and "cleaning" might be needed in order for peak running performance. Please DO NOT BUY if you are not comfortable with this disclaimer or you do not know how to lubricate and clean Marklin locomotives.
