Description: Offered is the vintage book "Movers and Shakers in Georgia", written by Lucinda Bunnen and Frankie Coxe and published in New York by Simon and Shuster. The book has a 1978 copyright and appears to be a first printing of the first edition, with a full number line. There are well over 100 black and white photos by Bunnen in all, including well-known Georgians of the time like Ted Turner, Hank Aaron, Jimmy Carter, Max Cleland and Gladys Knight, as well as many of "ordinary" residents of the state from all walks of life. An index of names is included. The book is approx. 11" x 8 1/2" and contains 160 pages, including the index. It is very good condition. The brown hard cover almost no wear, with some minor surface spotting. There is no cracking inside either the front or the back cover. The white endpapers are clean, although slightly yellowing. I see no missing or torn pages and all are well-attached to the binding, clean and clear, but slightly yellowing. I see no writing in the book. Please excuse the glare in some of the photos!
